for Macintoshes running OS X and Windows PCs - one file, all platforms..Free Downloads for Philologists and Linguists from Slavic Philology, Romance Philology, English Studies, Classical Philology, Phonetics, General Linguistics, Germanic Philology, Medievalists, Near East and Asian Studies, Africanists etc.
"RomanCyrillic Std" and "CampusRoman Std" have more than 3.800 characters. Special features are:
- Version 4, March 2011, supports Unicode 6.0 in all relevant areas (Latin, Cyrillic, Phonetics, Diacritics)
- More than 300 new characters compared to version 3 (released April 2008)
- Unicode blocks added: Armenian, Georgian, Old Persian cuneiform, Old South Arabic (automatic transliteration into Latin, not original scripts!)
- Full Latin character set
- Full monotonic and polytonic Greek character set
- Full set of Cyrillic characters with all historic variants
- Soviet additions to the Cyrillic Alphabet (Kazakh etc.)
- IPA phonetic characters - complete set

- Companion font "Kliment Std" has historical character shapes as basic glyphs (for those cases where OpenType features cannot be used); "Method Std" is the OCS black-letter design - the standard in Academic printing.
- RomanCyrillic Std and CampusRoman Std are the same fonts under different names; the name 'RomanCyrillic Std' reflects the origin of the font as being a tool for Slavists, while users from other philologies may prefer the 'CampusRoman Std' name.

The fonts may not be mirrored on other sites and may not be included in font archives, CDs, DVDs etc. For commercial use, a special licensed version as well as an OpenType .otf version of the same fonts are available from the author.
